Scroll of the Moment

Wonder follows chaos

the way crows chase hawks

or day swallows night.

How can I not be amazed

at the lack of control I have

in this life? But even in the

midst of craziness, the beauty

of a bluebird stops me

in my tracks. What life asks

of me is simply to be present as

the scroll of the moment unrolls.
