I can’t say enough about this yoga retreat! It was the best thing I could have done for myself! The location is excellent right on the beach, with a lovely saltwater pool and plenty of places to relax in the shade as well. The meals were all delicious prepared daily right there in the kitchen. The best part though was the yoga program and the wonderful women who participated. Lynn and Heidi did a fantastic job with planning each day's yoga practice not only the physical poses but also inspiring deep sharing with each other. I really can't recommend this retreat enough. I had plenty of down time, practiced Yoga everyday, met wonderful women, enjoyed the terrific weather and walked the beach every day! ~JODY

Attending the Honoring Self retreat led by Heidi and Lynn was a wonderful experience. It was deeply restorative both physically and mentally, and offered space for real reflection. I’m here to tell you that the Yoga retreat in Puerto Rico offered by Heidi and Lynn is a most fabulous experience. Here are some details that might be helpful, but if you are thinking of going, I suggest you just sign up.

First of all, the setting is absolutely lovely, facing the ocean and watching sunsets and surfers every night. The hotel is more like a private villa with beautiful large bedrooms with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The Villa has a lovely large kitchen, which is available to you for snacks and drinks, anytime you wish. Did I mention the salt water pool and floats? Secondly, the personal chefs are outstanding and the food is locally sourced and terrific. Accommodations are made easily for personal issues. And thirdly, And most importantly,the program that Heidi and Lynn offer is rich in Yoga, meditation, and personal discovery. Themes throughout the week, focus your attention inside as the surroundings facilitate relaxation. Both Heidi and Lynn were extremely flexible and responsive to the participants' needs, and we’re able to alter venues and activities with no problem. Everyone got the sense that Heidi and Lynn, who work so well together, worked very hard to enrich and deepen the experience. Their attention to detail is outstanding and very professional.

The only issue is the presence of some mosquitoes, but the venue does everything it can to help with that, including providing all necessary repellent. The Honoring Self Yoga Retreat in Rincón, Puerto Rico in March 2024 was an incredible experience—truly a fresh start in so many ways. Since returning, I’ve felt noticeably calmer and more centered. I find myself more accepting of both myself and others, more thoughtful before I respond, and more aware of whether I’m being invited to simply listen or to offer feedback. I deeply appreciated the care and intention behind every class and session. The location was stunning—each evening brought a breathtaking sunset—and the food was both nourishing and delicious. Heidi and Lynn created a space that felt safe, open, and supportive, which made it easier to let down my guard and just be present.

The group of women on the retreat were all wonderful, and the yoga classes were beautifully restorative, thoughtfully tied into the daily Yama themes we explored. I wholeheartedly recommend this retreat—and I might just go again. ~Amy
